We have a new one for you. Well…old one, really, but new to us. And perhaps new to you as well: 1967’s “In The Year 2889.” A somewhat rather goofy film that revolves around a group of people hiding in a house after a nuclear apocalypse as they attempt to prevent mutants from trespassing on the estate.

And with so many goings-on at the cusp of fall, it’s understandable that you may inadvertently miss a broadcast of Creature Features due to obligations to one of these days of observance. For example, last Saturday was National Talk Like A Pirate Day.
We’ll be joined by our old friend and yours, John Stanley, former host of Creature Features. He’ll chat us up about what’s he’s been into lately and give us some golden nuggets of knowledge about the night’s film, which is 1963’s “The Terror.”

…you’re probably just now realizing you missed Creature Features on Saturday night. Completely understandable. Who wants to stay home on the weekend when you could be near a large body of water with friends and family, baking marshmallows and all smelling like mosquito repellent.
