A quick internet search on the history of Mother’s Day will reveal this interesting morsel:

“The American incarnation of Mother’s Day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908 and became an official U.S. holiday in 1914. Jarvis would later denounce the holiday’s commercialization and spent the latter part of her life trying to remove it from the calendar.”

We understand Ms. Jarvis’ quandary. We have a few episodes of Creature Features that might be better off being expunged from the calendar as well. The episode below may quite well be one of them. But only because the movie is rather heinous and there’s a bit too much musical performance for Vincent’s liking. But that aside, it is a fun episode with a great guest and may be the perfect film to enjoy with mum after brunch. Or maybe not. Let us know.
