This is a well-made film that deserves far more credit than it ever received. And while Livingston isn’t so keen about it, we think you’ll find it worth the watch. “The Reincarnation of Peter Proud” from 1975 with Michael Sarrazin and Margot Kidder. Also starring the lovely Jennifer O’Neill, the movie is about a college professor who is plagued by vivid nightmares that feel more like memories than dreams. When a televised documentary reveals locations he’s seen only while asleep, he embarks on a search that leads to a small New England town. There, he uncovers a disturbing connection to a stranger’s past life and a woman with secrets buried deep beneath the surface. Released in 1975, this atmospheric psychological thriller explores the eerie boundaries between reincarnation and reality.
