Automobiles from the late 1950’s had a certain class and appeal that is still appreciated today. Sci-Fi movies from that era, however, are a different story. Though we hope that you’ll find that this one is a bit better than most: “The Cosmic Man” from 1959. Starring John Carradine as the titular character, this one plays off a bit like “The Day the Earth Stood Still” without the charisma of Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal and certainly without the powerful mystique of Gort the robot. But we think you’ll still find the film to be entertaining as well as being a calming respite from the nightmare we likely presented on the Friday show prior.
We won’t have a guest this weekend, but you can be sure that the household staff will go out of their way to fill in the gaps.
All this while Tangella nicks the chef’s knives, Saturday night at 9PM Pacific on YouTube at the enclosed link and on-demand at CreatureFeaturesTV.com. Don’t miss it!
