We’ve shown this movie one time, several years ago. It was good then. It’s even better now, as our restoration elves did another run-through to make it look superior to the last time. “Satan’s Triangle” from 1975 is the epitome of the made-for-TV horror film. It stars Doug McClure and Alejandro Rey – both staples of 1970’s television. But if you remember Rey as the kind priest in “The Flying Nun”, you’ll see him in a slightly different light with this film. Add the lovely Kim Novak to the mix and you have a rather unique and enjoyable film.
Joining us to watch this TV gem from the 70’s will be another TV gem from the 70’s. Brian Forster portrayed Chris on “The Partridge Family” at about the same time “Satan’s Triangle” was in production. But unlike the movie, there were no satanic possessions occurring on the Partridge Family. Though some might make a compelling argument that Danny Bonaduce was the devil himself. Chris will tell us about his days on the show, explain how he eventually went on to race cars and might even possibly shed some light as to why David Cassidy never stepped up to help James Hatfield form Metallica.
