This Saturday on Creature Features:

A bit of an unusual one for you this weekend: “Journey to The Center of The Earth” from 1993. This was a pilot-movie for a potential TV series that would star a few forgotten actors from the 90’s, a few notable yet obscure Star Trek actors and the legendary F. Murray Abraham. It looks like it had potential as a movie, but not an entire series. You be the judge.

Our guest will be artist and publisher, Andrew Goldfarb. He’s they guy at the helm of Freaky Magazine. You might have seen his work in Mad Magazine. He’ll tell us about his current projects, chat us up about the movie and show us something interesting that can be done with a heavy chain.

All this while Tangella forms a rock band, next Saturday night at 9PM Pacific on YouTube at the enclosed link and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

  1. I see that TCM is releasing “The Birds” into theaters in October, via Fathom. Given your setting in Bodega Bay, I look forward to seeing how you work this into your program. I’ve been watching less than a year, but am very impressed. The program is a lot of fun, and the movies are certainly varied. I’m in my 60’s, so have had some real nostalgia with the various made-for-TV films you’ve brought back. Keep up the good work. And while I’m commenting, I hope you can show some of Don Dohler’s films. Since I’m relatively new to your show, maybe you already have. I live and work in the general area where he filmed, and it’s cool to actually visit some of the filming locations, or speak to people who have. So, thanks for the fun programming.
