This Saturday on Creature Features:

Those of you who have been pining for us to show an “old school” horror movie won’t be disappointed this weekend. Because we shall present “The Vampire Bat” from 1933. Starring Lionel Atwill and Fay Wray, this dark and gloomy classic revolves around a small village where the citizens begin to die off rapidly due to some vampire-like fiend. The quality of this low-budget film will surprise you since most of it was shot on the Universal sets used for “Frankenstein” and “The Old Dark House.”

Joining us to serve up a deep-dive into classic Hollywood horror nostalgia will be author and historian David Skal. We can’t think of anyone that knows more about these wonderful old films than David and he’ll give us the full scoop on tonight’s feature.

All this while Tangella gets a box of goodies, next Saturday night at 9PM Pacific at the enclosed link and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

  1. I woke up yesterday in a doorway to an office building in Novato, CA (no policemen knew my name), but had to acknowledge that I should cut the dose.
    Creature Features is an inspiration.
Vince, Tangella and Livingston keep me safe.

    Cut the dose!

    Love, David Gari
