This weekend’s movie was remade in 2004 with Nicole Kidman and Matthew Broderick. But we won’t be able to afford to show that version until summer of 2051. In the meantime, we’ve managed to obtain the more-affordable variant that came out way before that: “The Stepford Wives” from 1975. This is quite a lovely film that is adorned with many charming actors, some nostalgic imagery and a somewhat creepy tale. If you’ve seen it, you’ll probably want to see it again. If you haven’t yet, you won’t want to miss it.
Guest-wise, our visiting thespian had to bow out for a better-paying gig. These things happen. He says he’ll come back up in the fall. So this weekend, you’ll just have to do with the typical characters that roam the hallowed halls of The Poulter Mansion.
All the above whilst Tangella helps with the dusting, next Saturday night at 9PM Pacific at the link above and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

‘The Stepford Wives’ now seems quaint, if not prophetic.
