Vincent likes a good ghost movie now and then so this weekend we have a really good ghost movie indeed: “The House That Would Not Die” from 1970. This one has Barbara Stanwyck (she was the big boss on “Big Valley”) and Richard Egan (he was the guy in that “Gog” movie we recently screened). It’s a classic ghost story that starts out with a woman inheriting an old home. Things seem great at first and then the action starts. Even if you’ve seen this film before, check it out again anyways. We did some restoration work on this one and it looks gorgeous.
Joining us to watch this lovely little haunt will be our old friend, San Francisco’s favorite movie critic Jan Wahl. She has interviewed everyone from Ben Affleck to Renee Zellweger and will tell us everything we need to know about Barbara Stanwyck including what size boots she donned on “Big Valley.”
All this while Tangella tortures Livingston’s ears with a piano, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the link above and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!
