This weekend on Creature Features:

A few years back, Tangella really wasn’t that dangerous. Oh, sure, she would detonate explosives at inexplicable times and at inappropriate places, but that was always part of her random acts of amusing charm. Especially since she’s only 160 centimeters in height and weighs less than a large bag of rice. It wasn’t until she learned the finer aspects of cage-fighting and kick-boxing that she become a formidable opponent in hand-to-hand combat. And the trainer that took her from feather-weight to Handrew’s constant-tormentor will be our guest this weekend:

Megan Farnham is both a cage fighter and a bartender, which means she can really kick some absinthe. Or something like that. This weekend, she’ll regale us in stories about her fighting days and that time she had to punch out a bar patron. She’s a fun and fashionable young lady and the perfect co-pilot to watch this weekend’s film which is “Daimajin” from 1966. This is a gorgeous Japanese film with an iconic giant monster that stars a fabulous cast who tell an intriguing story. We’ll be running the native language version with English subtitles so there will be none of that comical American over-dubbing we’re so used to seeing in other Kaiju films. If you haven’t caught this one yet, you really must see it.

All this while Tangella skillets Handrew, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the link above and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

  1. when this giant monster peers through the window of a screaming female victim, its scary just seeing his big eyes covering the entire window, also a great film too. So sad that KOFY 20 had to drop your show , liked watching on my 75 inch tv .
