Hollywood of the 1970s seemed obsessed with two topics: satan and animals on the attack. Our film this weekend covers both: “Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell” from 1978. Yet another film where the wonderful German Shepherd breed gets an undeserved bad rap and the satanists aren’t made to look very good either. There’s some familiar faces in this one – you’ll recognize Richard Crenna before he became Rambo’s commander. You’ll also spot a young Kim Richards after she left Nanny and The Professor but before she became a Beverly Hills socialite who punches out cops after she’s had a few too many.
Joining us to watch this devilish dog-film will be our old friend, comic artist Tom Beland. He’ll have a lot to say about the film. Most of it will be hilarious.
All this while Livingston tries to stop Tangella from shooting off, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the YouTube link above, 10PM on KOFY TV20 and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!
I didn’t see or hear the word Cerberus in the entire show and am thus disappointed:

“Sir” for short…
