This weekend on Creature Features:

Bela Lugosi wasn’t in too many color films. This is one of them. We’ll be showing 1947’s “Scared to Death.” The movie starts with a dead woman. Who was apparently scared to death. The rest of the film flashes back to how she found herself in this unenviable position. Think of it as a post-war episode of Columbo. But instead of Peter Falk, we have Bela Lugosi. And a dwarf.

Joining us for this tall tale with a short person will be the wonderful Rubén Valtierra. Besides being both a fun and funny guy, he also plays keys for Weird Al. He’s also played with a wide variety of other famous groups and we’ll hear some great stories from the road. He’ll also tell us how he was inducted into the world of animation as an actual cartoon character on The Simpsons.

All this while Tangella ignites a book-burning, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link above, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a frightening selection of blood-curdling television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!
