This weekend on Creature Features: We present you This weekend on Creature Features:

We present you with one of the greatest Sci-fi/Horror films ever made: 1957’s “The Giant Claw.” This film has everything: a magnificent cast, a stellar script and the most incredible special effects you’ve ever seen…. Ok, maybe we’re fibbing a bit about that last part. In any case, it’s a fun movie you’re sure to enjoy.

And joining us for this night of depredatory delight will be our old friend, Larry Lee Moniz. He’ll walk us through the more thought-provoking portions of the film and give us some insights about how it was made. He’ll also chat us up about the convention circuit and tell us about the time he met William Shatner.

All this while Tangella claws at a crow, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link below, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a vulturous selection of raptorial television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

We take you back to the 70’s again with the woefully underrated “The Horror at 37,000 Feet.” This is actually quite a well-made film that deserves a spot far higher on the horror-movie ratings list than where it currently dwells. We could go into great deal about what the story entails, but look at it this way: this film was produced at the hight of the Airport movies and knockoffs caused by The Exorcist. What if a clever producer had decided to merge the two genres?

It also has a great cast of familiar faces that include: William Shatner, Chuck Connors, Buddy Ebsen, Tammy Grimes, Lyn Loring, Jane Merrow, Roy Thinnes, Paul Winfield and Russell Johnson

All this while Tangella absconds with the viewer mail, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link below, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a high-flying selection of jet-setting television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

50 years ago to the day this Saturday, our founding host Bob Wilkins launched the first episode of Creature Features upon an unsuspecting nation. And we’ll be celebrating this jubilee of a day with you! Also with John Stanley, Bob’s successor who took over when Bob went on to do other things. We’ll also be joined by our current director, Tom Wyrsch, who inherited what was left of the original show from Bob (including his rocking chair) and single-handedly revived Creature Features himself. They’ll tell us all about the old days of Creature Features as we show some clips from the original show.

We’ll also be screening the first film Bob showed on that premiere night: The Horror of Party Beach from 1964. Often noted as “the worst film ever made” we have to say, it really isn’t all that bad. Yes, the monsters are a bit goofy, but it seems like a group of people put a lot of love and effort into this little film and it shows.

All this while Tangella demonstrates a variety of explosive confetti dispensers, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link below, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a commemorative selection of golden television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

This weekend on Creature Features: If we were to This weekend on Creature Features:

If we were to one day colonize our closest planet, it would need to be equipped with many things. But most of all, mars needs women, which coincidentally is the title of our next film. That’s right, this weekend Vince and the gang will be watching 1968’s “Mars Needs Women.” This is a high-quality film that truly represents the look, attitude and needs of a typical Martian. We’ve heard tell that this film is mandatory-viewing in all astronaut training programs worldwide. It’s even rumored to be Elon Musk’s most favorite film. Also, one or more of the above statements may in fact be patently false. Hopefully one of the social media sites will fact-check this for us because frankly we haven’t the time to bother.

And joining us for this interplanetary love-fest will be our old friend and neighbor, Jon Provost. You’ve seen him on our show many times before. And if you haven’t, you’ve seen him as a little boy when he portrayed Timmy on Lassie. Jon will walk us through this movie, explain why things were so different in 1960’s America and also drone on about his inability to obtain fresh water in his part of the neighborhood.

All this while Tangella tries her hand at being a devious barista, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link below, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on an out-of-this-world selection of interstellar television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

This is our Christmas episode! Sort of… We know, it will air the day after Christmas, but most people will still have their tree up and the staff at the Poulter Mansion just put theirs up a few days ago. And joining us for this day-late tribute to yuletide cheer will be the wonderful Tabitha Thomas. She’s a psychic. A medium. And an airline flight attendant. AND she’s an old friend of Tangella and Vince and she even used to live in the mansion herself before she chose to become a jet-setter.

Tabitha will tell us about her many travels and psychic encounters as we watch Laurel and Hardy in “Babes in Toyland.” We know. It’s not a very scary movie. In fact, it’s not frightening at all. But Tangella really wanted us to run it since she’s never seen it and we always let her choose our Christmas movie. So if you don’t like it, we completely understand. But don’t say anything. It will break her heart and when that happens, someone, somewhere coincidentally gets broken bones.

All this while Tangella steals Vince’s mail, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link below, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a merry selection of jolly television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

There will be no guest this week as none of our invitees were inclined to travel. We assume it has something to do with the upcoming holidays. Our apologies in advance for the over-abundance of Livingston and Tangella in this episode.

But on the upside, we’ll be watching “Haunts of the Very Rich” from 1972. This star-studded gem from the 70’s starts off as a rather mundane TV movie and develops into a tolerably diabolical nightmare. With Lloyd Bridges, Anne Francis, Ed Asner, Cloris Leachman and Donna Mills, this cast reads off like the attendee list to a tony Emmy Awards after-party. Add Robert Reed from the Brady Bunch to the mix and the entire affair takes on a somewhat ironic twist.

We’ll be joined by the heavenly Holly Fields. You’ve seen her on Wishmaster 2, The Sentinel, Arrow, The Iron Man and even on Touched by an Angel and Blossom. Not only that, but her incredible voice talents have been lent to hit games such as Star Wars - Old Republic, White Knight Chronicles, Shrek Forever After, God of War II, Superman Returns, Spider Man 2 and many more.

Holly will sit with us through and opine upon our movie, “Cosmic Monsters” from from 1958. This is a wonderful British creature feature that doles out a generous portion of flying saucers and giant insects as the English citizenry puts their world-famous quiet desperation on full display. It’s a first for our show and will maybe be a first for you.
