Don’t forget, friends:

If you own an AppleTV set-top box, there’s a Creature Features app just for you! If you want to see the show in the highest resolution possible, this is the way to go. Click the link below for more info. Search for it by name on your AppleTV. We also have apps for Roku and FireTV.

This weekend on Creature Features:

Don’t be a bubble-headed booby by missing this episode! We’ll be joined by the Robinson Robot from Lost in Space for his first on-screen interview since his retirement in the 60’s. Of course, we’re not entirely sure if it is THAT particular B9 unit or simply a well-made copy, but it appears that it contains the same memory banks, so the info we glean from the interview should be legit. We’ll even chat with the robot’s creator, Eric Yee, to get some of the more technical details. And to put this evening in the proper trajectory, we’ll be watching 1968’s “Destroy All Planets.” A fairly decent Gamera film that should keep you entertained and underscore the fact that our puny little show cannot afford the licensing fees for a proper Godzilla movie. All that and a galaxy more this Saturday night at 10PM PST on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link above, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a universal selection of space-faring television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

Three things of note happened today in history:

On this date in 1864, Union forces under General Sherman began their devastating march through Georgia. But only a mere 38 years later, James Cash Penney opened his first store in Kemmerer, Wyoming. While not even remotely as historic as those two other events, on this day in history of this very year, Creature Features made available the Vimeo link to their last broadcast to those at home who missed Saturday’s show.

This weekend on Creature Features:

What do you do when a pandemic strikes, you’re quarantined in a haunted mansion and your guest’s flight was cancelled? Why, you cook up some popcorn, load up a cheesy sci-fi movie and have a cozy night at home with the family. Sort of. Join us this weekend as we watch 1961’s “Phantom Planet.” It’s not that bad of a film. We showed it two years ago and people seemed to like it. Vince doesn’t remember it anymore. Tangella thought it was ok and Livingston couldn’t care less for it. If you’re stuck inside like we are, you might as well give it a look. It’s better than trying to watch Game of Thrones again, cause we all know how that ended. All this and so much more this Saturday night at 10PM PST on KOFY TV20, the YouTube link above, our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels and on a contagious selection of sanitized television stations nationwide. Don’t miss it!

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area…

…where Creature Features is filmed, it’s allegedly going to be a cold and rainy night. And if you don’t live in the area, you’ll probably have some inclement weather as well. Why not cozy up to that episode of Creature Features you missed over the weekend? It will be a good deal more fun than watching reruns of the curling competition from the 2008 Winter Olympics on ESPN.
