It’s somewhat surprising that we’ve never shown this one, given Vincent’s affinity for robot movies, but we’ll correct that this weekend as we present “Kronos” from 1957. Basically, a giant alien robot lands on Earth and begins to deplete it of all of its energy. Much like Tangella might do to Handrew after she’s crowned him with a skillet. Starring Jeff Morrow and Barbara Lawrence, this was a unique film for the time as it does not have the spasmodic manner of most alien films from that era.
Joining us will be our old friend and nearby-neighbor, actor Jon Provost. You’ll remember him as Timmy from Lassie. Tangella remembers him as one of the pins she aims for as she rolls bowling balls down the hill. He’ll tell us about the latest update to his book as he whinges on endlessly about Tangella’s unladylike behavior.
