Some of our movies are really quite good. Many of them – not so much. However this Saturday’s gem falls somewhere between those two categories: “The People Across The Lake” from 1988. Starring Valerie Harper and Gerald McRaney, you know this will be some high-brow cinema.

A mediocre little program like ours doesn’t yet have the funds to show a Universal classic like “The Wolfman.” Maybe someday. But by the time we can put a film like that on our schedule, the good people like you who watch our show will probably already have seen it for the umpteenth time.
This Saturday:
We’ll serve a great movie with a rather unpleasant name: “The Earth Dies Screaming” from 1964. What happens when you make a random prank phone call and inadvertently reach a psychopath on the other end of the line? You’ll find out this weekend when we air “I Saw What You Did” from 1988. Starring Shawnee Smith and Candace Cameron, this plays off like a TV sitcom gone very wrong.
This Saturday:
It should be a night of science fiction fun as we bring to you “Dead Space” from 1991. Starring Marc Singer, Laura Tate and a young Bryan Cranston. The story takes place on the planet Phablos. Which sounds somewhat close to “Fabulous.”
