Our first funding phase ensured that The Creature Features Movie would exist in some form — cameras would roll, a story would be told, and Poulter Mansion would survive another ill-advised production. That support mattered, and it worked.
We call this second phase of funding PRINCIPAL MAYHEM — the stage that determines how big, how bold, and how ridiculous this movie becomes.
This is the stage where ambition takes over: more locations, stronger production value, better effects, and the freedom to pursue ideas that simply weren’t realistic at the lowest-budget level. In other words, this is where the movie stops being merely possible and starts becoming the version we’ve all been imagining.
Rather than locking ourselves into the smallest, safest version of a single idea, The Creature Features Movie is being developed with multiple creative paths in mind — each one more ambitious than the last.
Which direction we ultimately take depends on what this phase of funding allows us to responsibly pursue. With your help, we’re free to choose the most entertaining option instead of the most restrictive one.
