We have a fresh update on The Creature Features Movie, and we’re excited to share where things stand. As many of you know, the initial stage of our Indiegogo campaign has concluded. During that time, Indiegogo underwent a change in ownership, which caused a few unexpected adjustments behind the scenes. Most notably, our original funding goal of $175K was automatically reduced to the final amount raised — about $50K — to allow the campaign to transition into Late Pledge mode. While this made it appear as though we reached our target, we did not; it was simply a technical requirement.
That brings us to the good news: we’re moving the next phase of funding to a new platform — most likely Kickstarter. This will give us a more stable, flexible environment for continuing the campaign and offering the remaining perks.
Our aim for this next stage is to raise an additional $125K, which, when combined with the support you’ve already provided, will bring us close to our original production target. All unclaimed perks will be available again on the new platform, and we’ll share the link as soon as the page goes live.
And now the best part: the movie is happening — no matter what.
Your support has already ensured that we can move forward, and while additional funding will give us more creative room and production resources, the film itself is not dependent on reaching the next goal. We’re committed to making something we’re proud of and something you’ll truly enjoy.
Pre-production is underway, and we anticipate beginning principal photography in late spring or early summer of 2026. It’s an exciting time, and we’re grateful to have you on this journey with us.
