While we haven’t yet shown “Killer Clowns from Outer Space”, at least we’ll soon be able to boast that we had one of the stars of that very film on our show: joining us will be Harrod Blank, who played not just one but quite a few of the clowns from that famous movie. He’ll tell us all about that experience and also show us that he’s not at all a clown in real life, but actually an accomplished author and documentarian that has covered the wonderful world of art cars. He’ll inform us about all that, show us some photos and also tell us about how he intends to dig up his dearly-departed pa-pa from the grave. Which touches upon the plot of the night’s film:
The 1961 psychological horror film “Mr. Sardonicus,” directed by William Castle is about a wealthy and enigmatic European aristocrat that becomes disfigured while goofing about at his father’s burial site. Can’t tell you much more than that, other than to say you’ll either laugh throughout the film or shudder in horror. Or maybe shudder from laughter. We never know with these older films.
All this while Tangella has a decorative dispute with Mrs. O’Connor, next Saturday night at 9PM Pacific on YouTube at the enclosed link and on-demand at CreatureFeaturesTV.com. Don’t miss it!
