It will be a night of devilish hilarity as we take in “Invitation to Hell” from 1984. Starring Susan Lucci from “All My Children”, you know this will be a horror worth watching. The story revolves around a family from the midwest that moves to Southern California for dad’s new job. They’re cajoled into joining a Tony country club only to find out that the director is the princess of darkness herself. While it may not sound that great the way we explain it, do bear in mind that it was directed by Wes Craven, so it will probably be much better than what we describe.
Joining us to watch this delightful gem from the 80’s will be our local experts on 80’s horror, Neil and Caleb from The Cult Show. They know everything there is to know about films from this decade and will offer their sage opinion on this film and what might have influenced its making.
