This Saturday on Creature Features:

We’ll be watching “Hangar 18” from 1980. This film has many parallels to our recent Friday broadcast of “Capricorn One.” Enjoy the deja vu. Starring Darren McGavin, Robert Vaughn and Gary Collins, this is a fun flick about an orbiting space shuttle that has a fender-bender with an alien spacecraft that forces said spacemen to crash land, allowing the US government to exploit secrets from a more-advanced civilization. Or something like that.

Joining us to watch this revelation that space aliens actually look like the bouncers that stand in front of Belgian nightclubs will be our old friend, Matt Allair. He runs an amazing web site on the X Files and has recently been involved in a new book. He’ll tell us what parts of this movie are true, which elements are plausible and exactly which parts are purely bovine manure.

All this while Livingston looks for a missing pot of flowers, next Saturday night at 9PM Pacific on YouTube at the enclosed link and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

  1. I woke up in SOMA doorway; a policeman knew my name.
He said ‘hi, Dave’ and I said ‘hi, Bill’ and got up and walked away.
