Being buried alive is no fun at all. Unless it’s someone else. In a movie. Like “The Oblong Box” from 1969. Starring Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Rupert Davies and an entire gaggle of British character actors, this fun film plays off much like a Hammer Film, only with a good measure less style and class. But the entire film doesn’t dwell on the buried part. It’s mostly about how a disfigured man lays chaos upon an unsuspecting village in nineteenth century England.
But the true gem of the evening will be our lovely guests. For joining us once again will be our dear friends Michael & Jessica from The Grimm Life Collective. These adventurers of cryptic places have quite a popular YouTube channel that documents their harrowing adventures across the USA to places like horror movie filming locations, murder scenes and other historic settings. They’ll tell us about their latest outings, chat with us about the movie and even take Tangella along with them on one of their local excursions.
All this while Tangella misplaces a cranium in the septic tank, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the YouTube link above and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!
