This weekend on Creature Features:

It’s been almost four years since we’ve shown this one. Just long enough so Vince doesn’t remember any of it and most of our new viewers may have likely never seen it. The Beast from Haunted Cave from 1959. Produced by Roger Corman’s brother, Gene, this film is somewhat rather different from the typical 50’s monster film. Though not by much. Monthly Film Bulletin noted that the film had “…few positive virtues.” Leonard Maltin gave it 2 out of 4 stars. Obviously a mediocre movie to professional critics but high-brow cinema for a spindly little show such as ours.

Joining us to watch this extravagant epic will be Ross Lockhart from Word Horde. His company publishes some cool books and they’ve just opened a curio shop in Petaluma, California. He’ll show us some of his books, tell us about the store and Tangella will even take a tour of it herself at the beginning of the second segment.

All this while Tangella practices her penmanship, Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the YouTube link above and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!
