This weekend on Creature Features:

If you were ever a child and you had access to a television, you’d likely recall watching Japanese King Kong movies on Saturday afternoon matinee monster movie shows. And one of the best in that category of films was “King Kong Escapes.” Our guest this weekend will be the wonderful star of that movie, Ms. Linda Miller. She’ll tell us about how she was chosen for that role, what it was like portraying Susan Watson and about that time she was on My Three Sons.

Movie-wise, we’ll be screening “The Crawling Eye” from 1958. This is pretty good film we last showed a few years ago. Originally titled “The Trollenberg Terror”, this one stars Forrest Tucker, Laurence Payne and Jennifer Jayne. It a good movie that shows that there are things on the Swiss Alps far more terrifying than yodelers.

All this while Tangella hacks into a mainframe, this Saturday night at 9PM Pacific Time at the YouTube link above, 10PM on KOFY TV20 and on-demand at our Roku, AppleTV and FireTV channels. Don’t miss it!

  1. The crawling eye is one of my favorite sci-fi / horror movies. Any chance you folks can get the 1950’s invaders from Mars? Great special effects for its time. The 1980’s version didn’t add anything to the original.
Finally how about Black Sunday? An Early 1960’s film with Barbara Steele as the witch. A strong horror film not to be confused with Karloff’s Black Sabbath trilogy.
